Yes — originals only. Photocopies are not accepted at the Guna Yala border checkpoint. No exceptions.
Snorkel masks and fins are available to rent at the island for $10. Bring your own gear if you have it — that way it's free.
Yes. The Natural Pool is only waist-deep in most areas. Life jackets are provided on the boat. You don't need to be a strong swimmer to enjoy the tour.
Yes, from age 5 and up. Children under 8 go free when accompanied by a paying adult. Please let us know their ages when booking.
Yes, the jungle mountain road is unpaved and takes about 3 hours each way. It is scenic and part of the adventure, but take motion sickness pills if you are sensitive to winding roads.
Swimwear, a change of dry clothes, reef-safe sunscreen, cash for optional drinks and snorkel rental, a dry bag for electronics, and your passport. Motion sickness tablets are recommended.
The fee is $22 per person (covers port tax and Guna Yala territory entry). This is already included in your $148 tour price — you pay nothing extra at the border.
Yes. Starfish are commonly spotted in the shallow waters of the Natural Pool area. Sea urchins and tropical fish are also abundant around the sunken ship at Perro Chico.
The tour runs rain or shine. San Blas is a tropical archipelago and brief showers are normal — the islands are stunning in any weather. If severe conditions make travel unsafe, we will reschedule at no cost.
Yes. The Guna Yala territory is one of the safest areas in Panama, governed autonomously by the indigenous Guna people. Crime is extremely rare. Our guides have operated these routes since 2018.
Absolutely. The islands are breathtakingly beautiful and the pace is relaxed. For a more private experience, consider upgrading to a private charter where you have the boat and islands to yourselves.
