All charters include the crew (a captain and a cook on every catamaran; on some sailboats the captain also cooks), all meals, drinks with and without alcohol in moderation, and snorkeling gear. Water toys vary by vessel and we confirm exactly what is on board when you book. Not included in these prices: transport from Panama City to the boat and back (an add-on from $140 per guest round trip) and the Guna Yala tax ($22 per tourist, $7 per Panamanian resident, paid in cash at the Nusagandi checkpoint). A 50% deposit confirms the booking, or 30% when the total exceeds $19,000; balance due 30 days before charter start.

What 5 nights looks like

Day 1: Panama City to first anchorage
Early 4x4 pickup, 2.5 to 3 hour drive, water taxi to your boat. Lunch on board, snorkel a nearby reef.

Day 2: Western Guna Yala
Sail through 2 or 3 western anchorages. Visit a Guna community if interested. Sandbar lunch, sunset cocktails.

Day 3: Push east to deeper anchorages
Sail east. The reefs get better, crowds disappear. Snorkeling stops at a couple of uninhabited islands. Long afternoon at anchor.

Day 4: Cayos Holandeses zone
Sail to or near the Cayos Holandeses for the most remote snorkeling. Beach time, fresh seafood lunch, stargazing.

Day 5: Last full day
A slow last day: swimming, snorkeling, one more island stop and a final sunset at anchor.

Day 6: Early return to Panama City
The water taxi collects you from the boat early in the morning, about 6:20 to 8:00 AM depending on the anchorage (we confirm the exact time the day before). Then the 4x4 drives you back to Panama City, arriving around 12:00 to 1:00 PM.

- Transport from Panama City to the boat and back: an add-on, from $140 per guest round trip (shared 4x4 with other travelers, up to 6 per vehicle, plus the shared water taxi to the boat).
