About This Vessel

A Lagoon 470 catamaran lengthened to 52 feet, built in 1998 and fully refitted in 2023, sailing the San Blas Islands with shared cabin charters: you book a cabin or a bunk and share the boat with other travellers, up to 10 guests in all. There are 4 double cabins and 2 bunk beds: 3 of the cabins have a private bathroom and the fourth has a shared bathroom. A captain, a cook and a deckhand look after the boat and the meals, and the crew speaks Spanish, English and French. Drinks are made fresh with fruit: cocktails twice in the morning and twice in the afternoon, always with alcohol-free versions, wine with meals and a digestif after dinner. There is no air conditioning, by the owner's choice, to live close to nature without the noise, and 4 paddleboards, snorkel and fishing gear and a dinghy are on board.

How you pay: a deposit to AMPA Tours confirms your place, and the rest goes directly to the boat's owner, by online payment link or in cash on board. Cancellation follows the owner's terms: the trip is only cancelled if Guna Yala or the road into it is closed. Bad weather does not cancel it, and there is no refund if you decide not to come.
